  • Digital Receiver

    Rockford Fosgate leads in this category as these small square units fit seamlessly for ATVs and Side-by-sides compared to traditional car radios. They function exactly the same as traditional headunits equipped with AM/FM, Bluetooth, and USB charging for smartphones.

  • Hideaway Bluetooth Unit

    This is a hideaway bluetooth unit with simple power connections and RCA outputs to go into an amplifier. It bluetooths to any smartphones and then all music and volume selection will be done through the smartphone.

Speaker Options

  • Normal All-weather Speakers

    These are normal coaxial or component speakers built with all weather material. There might be small moditification needed to fit these speakers into a bike or UTV. These speakers make a significant improvement to any factory bike or UTV stereo.

  • Horn style All-weather Speakers

    Horn style speakers generally have flaring ducts that help with efficiency and increasing the loudness to around 10db more compared that of regular coaxial speakers. Horn speakers will pierce through most of the road and wind noise that come with riding; making it more suitable for bikes and UTVs.

  • Harley Specific Speakers

    Harley specific speakers make installation easier and imporves the sound quality dramatically. Only certain few premium brands manufactured them such as Cicada Audio, Focal, and Rockford Fosgate. Generally they come with specific Harley plug-ins and adapters for perfect fits without modification.

Digital Sound Processor Options

DSPs are becoming more popular and known in the bike and UTV application. Hertz and Arc Audio were the first ones to come out with DSP units specifically for motorcycles. The fexibility a DSP gives us for tuning dramatically improves the sound and sort of gives it more of a surround sound experience for the rider.

Amplifier Options

  • It needs to be Weather Proof

    It is extremely important for the amplifier to be coated with a layer of weather proof coating. It's also important for the wiring and plugs to be water proof with rubber seals, more so in an UTV application.

  • It needs to be Compact and Small

    The size of the amplifiers really plays a factory in this application as they need to be well hidden or fit under the fairing of motorcycles. Sound Digital and Cicada amplifiers excel in this category to provide plenty of power in a relatively small chassis.
