2010 Chevy Silverado
Another amazing install from Audio Concepts. Truely reference quality with insane power and quality! Sound quality from FOCAL Elite Series K2 Power Component Speakers and FOCAL ASE165 for rear effects. Scar 1500 watt 12" Subwoofer in a custom designed subwoofer enclosure. Power is from a 4000 watt Down4Sound JP454 Amplifier. All of this is controlled by the Kenwood Excelon DNX697S head unit with the matching Kenwood Dash Cam. With all this power, the alternator and battery and wiring had to be upgraded. A high capacity Mechman alternator was installed with dual Optima Red Top Batteries. All wiring is done with 0 Gauge Power and Ground Cables. The grounds were upgraded to "The Big 3" grounding system. Sound was amazing. Big and spacious sound with the Focal K2s with amazing rear DSP effects for the rear Focal ASE165s. The Bass was so solid and deep. The output from this Scar subwoofer was insane. This was truely a really fun build.
Radio
Kenwood DNX697S radio with modern features, paired with a Maestro RR module for factory gauge display on the screen. Includes high-voltage pre-outs for a clean signal to the amplifier.
Front Door
Focal K2 speakers installed in the front doors with Blackhole sound deadening for improved clarity and reduced vibration.
Tweeter
Focal K2 tweeters mounted on the dash, aimed toward the listener for optimal direction, delivering clear and crisp high-frequency output.
X'Over
Focal K2 crossover handling frequency separation between woofer and tweeter, allowing each to play the range they’re designed for
Rear Door
Focal Auditor component speakers installed in the rear doors for balanced rear-fill sound.
Battery Post
Battery post connection distributing power to two output wires for amplifier installation.
Dashcam
Dash cam installed to monitor and record all road activity for improved protection and awareness.
Amplifier
4000W Down4Sound JP4.54 4-channel amplifier powering the speakers with strong, clean output.
Alternator
Installed a high-capacity Mechman alternator along with a Big 3 upgrade to support the increased power demands of this full audio system.
Subwoofer
1500W 12" SCAR subwoofer in a ported enclosure delivering deep bass, with the box fitting neatly behind the passenger seat.
