The 30 KXE subwoofer is a 12” (30cm) woofer that stands out for its high-power handling and exceptional reliability. Offering an exceptional sound level, it has an SPL for a sealed box or bass-reflex.
Like all the K2 Power kits, it features Focal’s emblematic K2 cone, instantly recognisable in its iconic yellow. This innovation combines rigidity, lightness and damping to reproduce precise and dynamic low frequencies. What’s more, the cone is supported by a strong, super reliable rubber surround. Its exclusive profile provides better cone travel, for deep, controlled bass.
Rigid, non-magnetic, and specially designed, the aluminium chassis has been designed to improve the excursion of the coil, allowing the subwoofer to deliver sustained, striking, dynamic bass.
Senior to the SUB 25 KXE, the 30 KXE subwoofer features a 30 cm bass driver. Manufactured in our workshops and equipped with Focal's emblematic K2 membrane, it stands out for its high power handling and exceptional reliability.
EXCEPTIONAL BASS
Thanks to its K2 diaphragm, which combines rigidity, lightness and damping, the bass is precise and dynamic. Offering exceptional sound levels, the subwoofer has an SPL perfectly suited to closed volume or bass-reflex applications.
FOCAL KNOW-HOW
The rigid, non-magnetic frame with its exclusive profile favors optimum sound excursion, while the double voice coil motor ensures even greater linearity and power.
OPTIMIZED WIRING
The terminal block which electrically connects the subwoofer to your audio system is a "push-button" terminal block, making wiring and installation easier.
K2 Sandwich Cone
The aramid fibre cone inherits all of Focal’s unique know-how. Composed of an ultralight foam core, sandwiched between a thin layer of aramid fibre and a layer of fibreglass, it combines 3 key factors when it comes to acoustics: rigidity, lightness and damping, for sound that is as precise and dynamic as it can get.
TMD® Surround
The speaker drivers benefit from TMD® (Tuned Mass Damper) technology, a patented innovation. This surround has a special profile, designed to better control the effect of resonance and reduce the distortion associated with deformations of the cone. The midranges are perfectly defined and very realistic.
